Collectively, we are some of Queensland’s most credentialed physiotherapists, each of us having been either a Head Physiotherapist in professional sports, run our own clinics or led an orthopaedic outpatients department charged with overseeing the practice of other experienced physiotherapists.

Rob Harris

Rob Harris

28 Years qualified


Rob believes passionately about trying to fix everyone that comes through his clinic door with a hand-on approach. He prides himself in treating those people with complex problems that haven’t been resolved successfully elsewhere. Robs experience in sports is irrefutable but he is now enjoying the challenge of bringing these specialist skill sets and treatment approaches to his day-to-day patients who need just as much help.

 

  • Former Head Physio Manchester City FC in the UK Soccer Premiership
  • Former Medical Director of Wigan Warriors, Salford Red Devils and Sale Sharks Rugby Union
  • Founder of Harris and Ross Healthcare, at one stage one of the UK’s largest private physio practices. This included running the Outpatients department of Spire Manchester, Manchester’s largest private hospital, as well as directing the RedBull High Performance centre. Here, RedBull athletes from all over the world would be flown in for pre and post surgical treatment.
  • Physio roles include appointments to the NZ Warriors, NZ Rugby League, NZ Soccer as well as Lead roles with the Wigan Warriors in the UK Superleague, and The Great British Lions
  • Consultant physiotherapist to UK Athletics and England Rugby Union as well as multiple appointments in the ‘corner’ for World Title boxing fights, TV productions and specialist military consultancies.
  • Formerly devised the knee rehab protocols for the Orthopaedic Department of the Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland Browns
  • Mat work Pilates qualified

Hannah Lloyd

13 Years qualified


Hannah graduated from Bradford University with BSc (hons) in 2010 and has since worked with a mix of private, hospital & elderly patients as well as elite athletes. Having worked under Rob Harris for most of her career she is very well trained & popular with patients. She prides herself on being able to help patients from all walks of life with both simple & complex problems.

  • Has worked with and under Rob for almost 12 years now
  • Former Head Physio Leigh Centurions and Salford Red Devils in the UK Super league
  • Former Head Physio Wales Rugby League for the 2017 World Cup in Australia
  • Former Head Physio to the Wigan Rugby League Academy for several years
  • Hannah has worked alongside several NRL teams during their visits to the UK including, Brisbane Broncos, Cronulla Sharks, St George Illawarra and South Sydney Rabbitohs. She has also worked with the Australian and New Zealand rugby league squads
  • Mat work Pilates qualified

Sandra ‘Sani’ Krouzecky

14 Years qualified


Having run her private practice in the city centre of Vienna for over 8 years, ‘Sani’ decided to immigrate to Australia.

Somewhat of a foot and ankle specialist, Sani worked with the Viennese ballet and as the specialist physiotherapist to Dr’s Trnka and Kristen, two of the worlds most renowned foot and ankle specialists, who pioneered the Scarf technique for Hallux Valgus (Bunion) re-alignment.

Equally adept at all forms of physiotherapy, Sani is as happy with elderly and NDIS patients as she is comfortable with the full range of sports injuries having spent 2 years working full time in a specialist neurological rehab facility in Lower Austria.

  • Owned and managed her own private practice for 8 years in the City Centre of Vienna before moving to Australia
  • Former physio to the Austrian National Vaulting Team
  • Former physio to the Viennese Ballet Company
  • 5 years as the specialist physiotherapist to one of the Austria’s leading orthopaedic MDT teams specialising in treatment pathways for ankle, hip & knee start to finish integrated care
  • Certified and specialist in Cranio-Sacral therapy and Visceral mobilisation.

Jennifer lovelock

12 Years qualified


Jennifer graduated with a Masters (MSc) in Physiotherapy in 2011, following a BSc undergraduate degree in Sports Therapy.  Since graduating, she has worked in elite sport and with the British military where she has gained invaluable musculoskeletal injury treatment and rehabilitation experience. 

Jen has taken this experience into private practice where she has spent the last 10 years helping people from varied backgrounds with a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems.  She has a real passion for the profession and helping people achieve their goals. 

Jen is a keen Triathlete herself and has regularly competed internationally, picking up a European bronze medal this season.

  • Former Head Physiotherapist for multiple non-league English Soccer teams
  • Worked with the British Army
  • Over 10 years experience in private practice
  • Also trained in Acupuncture, kinesio taping and shockwave therapy.

Maebh Coleman

7 Years qualified


As former physio to the UK defence forces, Maebh needed to become very adept at all forms of physiotherapy, frequently running first point of call triage clinics for conditions ranging from neurological, women’s health, respiratory, musculoskeletal and rheumatological.

As well as becoming extremely proficient at many aspects of physio in her multi-faceted role on the base, she was also Physiotherapist to the British Army Rugby League team and prior to joining the defence force, ran a seven-member physio team in a major trauma centre.

Maebh is also a women’s health physiotherapist and enjoys helping women at all stages of life, making sure they are feeling their best. 

  • Physio to the British Army Rugby League team
  • Former Physiotherapist to the UK Ministry of Défense running triage for the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Air Force
  • Former Head Physiotherapist and team leader in a major trauma centre and orthopaedic outpatient department on the East Coast of the UK

Karen Hawkins

36 Years qualified


Karen has 35 years of physiotherapy experience & has worked across several areas of physiotherapy predominantly the public sector but also in private practice as well as aged care facilities.

She was a previous owner of Cassowary Coast Physiotherapy (Tully Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy) & has continued to work with us ever since.

Karen is also heavily involved with the clinical education of physiotherapy students from JCU & UQ.

  • Has worked across all areas of physiotherapy including the public sector, private practice and aged care facilities
  • Karen has her own MSK following but is our most specialist physio with regards to aged care, NDIS and women’s health patients
  • Mat work Pilates qualified

Justin Cridland

4 Years qualified


Justin graduated from the University of Queensland with 1st Class Honours. Growing up playing Rugby League and Touch Football he has a keen interest in sporting injuries.

He believes in a good mixture of hands on therapy along with exercise therapy within the clinic and out on the field. Justin strives to combine his experiences and skills from these elite level sporting environments along with his further training in Strength and Conditioning into the clinic to ensure the highest quality care for his patients from acute to late-stage rehab.   

Fun Fact: Justin is part of the Australian Men’s Open Touch Football Team!

  • Former Head Physiotherapist Souths Rugby Union Colts program 
  • Justin has also worked for World Rugby assisting the referees in the Rugby Championship along with the North Devils in the Queensland Intrust Super Cup 
  • Strength & Conditioning accreditation through Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) 
  • Further training in dry needling. 

Darcie goodman

4 Years qualified


Darcie is a local Tully girl who graduated from James Cook University in Townsville in 2020 and has worked in both Australia & England since then.

Darcie is a dedicated physiotherapist specialising in men’s and women’s health, with a passion for helping her clients achieve their wellness goals. 

 

Trained in reformer Pilates, she combines her expertise in hands on physiotherapy with personalised exercise programs to promote optimal physical health and rehabilitation. 

Darcie’s compassionate approach and commitment to ongoing education ensure her patients receive the highest quality care tailor to their individual needs.

Jody Spicer

7 Years qualified


As a Far North Queensland local, Jody has a love for all things health and wellness, and embeds these principles in all aspects of her life both personal and professional.

Jody graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and has worked in a variety of settings including public hospital settings, community services as well as specialised private practice.

Since starting her career as an Exercise Physiologist, Jody has loved being able to get to know someone beyond their difficulties and create meaningful change in their lives!

She understands the complexity of each person’s individual circumstances, and works hard to provide individualised, patient-centred care to give the most tailored and clinically relevant recommendations to each and every person, supporting them to maximise their potential!
