These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the physiotherapy and allied health services provided by Cassowary Coast Physiotherapy Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). 

By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 

We provide physiotherapy and related allied health services in accordance with professional standards, clinical guidelines, and applicable Australian laws. 

Information on our website is provided for general information purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. 

Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or in person. 

Appointment times are subject to practitioner availability and may need to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any changes. 

Cassowary Coast Physiotherapy Pty Ltd applies different cancellation terms depending on whether services are privately funded or funded by a third party (including NDIS, Medicare, DVA, or insurers). 

By booking an appointment, you agree to the applicable cancellation policy below. 

Private patients are required to cancel or reschedule appointments prior to 8:00am on the day of the appointment. 

A cancellation fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service fee may be charged if: 

• The appointment is cancelled after 8:00am on the day of the appointment 
• You do not attend a scheduled appointment without notice 
• You do not arrive within a reasonable time of your appointment start time 

Cancellation fees for private patients are payable by the client and are not claimable through Medicare, private health insurance, or other third-party fuders. 

For services funded by third parties (including the NDIS), a minimum of 2 business days’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. 

In accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, we may recover a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service cost from the participant’s plan if: 

• The appointment is cancelled with short notice (within 2 business days) 
• The participant does not attend the appointment without notice 
• The participant does not attend the appointment within a reasonable time 

Repeated cancellations or non-attendance may result in: 

• Loss of regular appointment times, or 
• Termination of services with 14 days’ written notice, allowing time to arrange an alternative service provider 

• SMS appointment reminders are provided as a courtesy and do not replace the client’s responsibility to manage appointments. 
  
• We will make reasonable efforts to work with clients to minimise missed appointments where possible. 
  
• If a therapist cancels or reschedules an appointment, no cancellation fee will be charged, and an alternative appointment will be offered where practicable. 

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled by: 

• Replying to your SMS reminder 
  
• Calling reception on (07) 4068 2074 
  
• Emailing admin@cassowarycoast.physio

• Fees will be disclosed at the time of booking or appointment. 
• Payment is required on the day of service unless prior arrangements have been made. 
• We accept approved payment methods as advised at the clinic. 

Clients are responsible for any fees not covered by Medicare, NDIS, DVA, or private health insurers, including gap payments and cancellation fees where applicable. 

Where services are funded by the NDIS or other third-party funders: 

• Services will be delivered in accordance with relevant funding guidelines 
• You are responsible for ensuring your plan includes sufficient funding 
• Cancellation fees may be charged in accordance with applicable pricing arrangements 

You agree to: 

• Provide accurate and complete personal and health information 
• Inform us of any changes to your medical condition 
• Follow treatment recommendations provided by your physiotherapist 
• Treat staff and other clients with respect 
• We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate. 

To the extent permitted by law: 

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our website or services 
• Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law 

Where permitted, our liability is limited to re-supplying the services or the cost of having the services supplied again. 

You agree not to: 

• Use our website for unlawful purposes 
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems 
• Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission 

We may suspend or restrict website access at any time without notice. 

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Cassowary Coast Physiotherapy Pty Ltd. 

Content may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent. 

Your use of our website and services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
